Cosmic 35 Degree Short 2008 Sleeping Bag

The Kelty Cosmic 35 Degree Short sleeping bag is designed for lightweight backpacking during late spring, summer and early fall or in warm climates. The dimensions of the Cosmic 35 Degree Short are cut to fit junior and smaller-statured hikers and campers. With a tapered mummy cut and a weight of only 2 lb. 5 oz., the Cosmic 35 Degree Short stuffs to a size of 7 in. x 14 in. for convenient packing and carrying. The Cosmic 35 Degree Short sleeping bag utilizes Thermolite Quallo synthetic insulation. Quallo is a lightweight, compressible synthetic fill that maintains its high loft, softness and insulating properties over time. Like other synthetic fills, Quallo retains most of its insulating capabilities even when wet, making the Cosmic 35 Degree Short a good choice for wet climates. The shell of the sleeping bag is made of ripstop nylon and a polyester taffeta liner provides internal comfort. Two-layer offset quilt construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside from reaching the inside of the Cosmic 35 Degree Short. This type of quilt construction is durable and maintains its shape and structure after many uses. Other features found on the Cosmic 35 Degree Short include a 3/4-length, two-way locking zipper, sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops, hanging loops and a contoured hood. The hood utilizes Kelty’s patented FatMan and Ribbon drawcords, allowing you to adjust the top or lower sections of the hood by feel even when it’s dark outside. Sized to fit to 5′ 4″, the Kelty Cosmic 35 Degree Short sleeping bag comes with a polyester stuff sack.
