7 New Gear to Look Forward to at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2012

The Outdoor Retailer Winter Market is said to be “North America’s largest winter lifestyle and sports industry gathering in the world featuring big brand names like Timberland, The North Face and Columbia Sportwear and new startups showcasing new gear to buyers like REI, Cabelas, The Sports Authority and more. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, you probably already know about Outdoor Retailer.

Based on the sneak peak by GearJunkie, there are already some new gear that I find interesting.

Granite Gear Vapor Current pack

Granite Gear is not only known for its construction techniques and backpack durability but also for its creativity and innovation. I expect the Vapor Current pack to be a winner.

Montane Featherlite Down Jacket

It weighs just 14 oz and packs so small you can probably fit it in your pocket.

Klymit Tiny Pad

Klymit’s unique sleepig pads were a hit in 2011. They’ll be trying to make it big with the tiny Tiny Pad, a 3oz, 29″ x 9″ Cush pillow.

Watertight! Innate Heliograph Camera Case

That looks like an iPhone in there. I bet you can operate the iPhone through that window.

Merrell Pulse Glove

I’m not a fan Vibram Fivefingers but I do like “barefoot” running. Merrell’s Pulse Glove seems perfect for barefoot running in winter with its weather resistant fabric and grip sole.

BlenderBottle SportMixer

This bottle makes it easier to mix powder drinks when you shake thanks to the “stainless-steel whisk ball”.

Killer Shark ABC

The ABC stands for altimeter, barometer and compass.

  1. We have developed a new product and would love you to take a look and give us your opinion. We make the Original Toasty Tush it’s a camp chair insulation to help keep your backside warm while sitting outdoors in a camp chair. No more getting up and turning around while sitting at the fire just so you can warm your backside. Toasty Tush uses your own body heat to help keep you warm. http://Www.toastytush.ca Also we were recently featured in RV West magazine, the article tells the story of how an accident changed my life forever and gave me the opportunity to invent this great product. http://Www.rvwest.com

    Thanks
    Laurie
