I love the look of the LAUFBURSCHE huckePÄCKchen. It’s very unique and looks very well made.

When it first appeared at the backpackinglight community many wanted one. I didn’t even bother looking at the specs, already I want one too.

Laufbursche’s design concept is to make packs that provide maximum possible comfort with minimal weight. The materials used for what is probably the first ever LAUFBURSCHE pack are:

- Silnylon 45g/m²( 1.3 oz./sq. yd., entire shell fabric)
- 3D mesh 6mm 780g/m² (23 oz./sq. yd., shoulder straps)
- meshfabric..106g/m² (3,1 oz./sq. yd., Side pockets)
- webbing (Shoulder straps / hip belt)
- light webbing (All other straps)
- Dyneema coated 1,5mm (Cords)
- Several buckles, cordlocs & elastics

Judging from their site alone, you know that Laufbursche is a very new company. It’s even hosted on a free blogspot platform.

You can probably buy one of their good looking packs if you contact the guy responsible for it directly. I’m pretty sure that once these are available for sale that it will get a lot of attention especially from lightweight backpackers who have no need for internal frame backpacks.

You can read the review of the pack in the photo at the top here.
