It’s been almost a year since the guys at Alpkit started working on a new range of tents and it’s looking not too bad so far.
First up there’s Limpit, a classic geodesic all-mountain tent. They messed around with the pole configuration and overall look but decided to stick to the original design because they were better. In short, it’s just another geodesic tent with an Alpkit name on it.

They had better luck with Project Bunka. The tent is also a geodesic tent but mixed up a little to give a wider 3-person tent with steep side walls. 2 poled large vestibule doors maximize the space further.

Then there’s the Hex, a six person tent that promises both space and security from the elements. It has 3 large vestibules for storing your gear and 3 entrance points. If the wind happens to be blowing directly into one door you can simply use another one if you want.

All Alpkit tents or Alptents as they call it comes with high quality color-coded poles, lightweight fabrics that are strong and durable, and plenty of pockets and clip hanging points on the interior.
