nPower Peg – The World’s First Portable Kinetic Energy Charger

All this time we’ve been wasting energy.

Everyone has the potential to produce energy by simply walking with the nPower PEG – The world’s first portable kinetic energy charger.

PEG is the acronym for Personal Energy Generator. You place the PEG in your backpack or suitcase and you become a human battery charger.

The first time I saw this thing, I didn’t know what it was. When I found out what it did, I wasn’t impressed because I had thought it was some sort of spring loaded device that if you push hard enough and long enough you’d be able to charge your iPhone.

But it wasn’t until I looked a little bit closer that I realize that this is one cool invention. Aside from you having to move around with thing in your backpack, there’s really no effort required for you to produce electrical energy. The PEG as it turns out is not even spring loaded.

Inside, there’s something that seems to be floating that moves up and down as you move. The kinetic energy as a result of this movement is then stored as electrical energy which you can use to charge your devices.

Backpackers now don’t have to depend on the sun to charge headlamps, lanterns or GPS devices. City dwellers might also find the nPower Peg to be useful. As long as you walk a lot, you’ll never have to worry about your phone running out of juice.

The nPower PEG is so effective that you can charge your electronics with it as if was plugged into a wall outlet. Even the military seem to have taken an interest in the PEG.
