The Nemo Isopod Camping Tent screams hi-tech just by looking at it. It is made with a fabric called OSMO EX which is like a space blanket except that it breathes. The breathing metalized fabric reflects body heat and keeps the tent warm.
The white nylon window around the tent lets in sunlight so that it can be absorbed by the floor fabric, increasing warmth inside thet tent. A tent’s primary function is not to keep you warm but the Isopod does it so well you can be confident camping in the dead of winter. After all, it is designed for polar explorer.
The double-wall freestanding design allows the polar explorer in extreme conditions to set up the outer tent first and then finish setting up the inner tent body and floor from the inside.
To withstand strong winds, the dome tent has plenty of backup in the form of 50 guy-out points, 10 primary ground anchors, 100 feet of guy line and aluminum snow stakes.
