The Pico Chair folds down to the size of a laptop, about 1/16th of its size when open, which makes it perfect for camping, picnics, waiting in line, watching your kid play football or whatever you like. Though I don’t recommend it for backpacking because 9 lbs (the chair’s weight) is a lot especially when you have other gear to carry and over a long distance. To compare, a 17″ macbook pro weighs 6.6 lbs
However the size of the Pico Chair is not just a gimmick. The chair itself is pretty comfortable according to users. It can officially support up to 250 lbs but one user claims to be 300 lbs and has no problems with the chair.
The Pico Telescoping Chair is great for camping and general use because it’s a full-sized chair that folds down really small. If you’re looking for a chair for backpacking, I recommend you go for the Alite Monarch Chair.
