Found at the European Outdoor Show, there are some interesting stuff coming from The North Face in Spring 2011. If you’re looking for a new internal frame backpack, there’s going to be an all-round alpine/mountain pack made of lightweight but strong Cordura Bombastic auto-airbag fabric with a neat lid design as well as other amazing features.
There’s also going to be a lightweight summit pack made of cargo chute fabric which doubles as a sleeping bag stuff sack. It’s a very minimalist pack that may appeal to some.
Other gear include a trail running shoe; a three-layer, Gore-Tex Stretch Pro Shell technical mountain waterproof jacket; an ultralight windbreaker that doubles as a stuff sack and a totally waterproof-yet-still-breathable jacket.
