A tent that’s also a hammock is called a Tammock and a tent that’s also a backpack is called a TentPak so it’s only appropriate that a rucksack that’s also a jacket be called a RuckJack. It is a lightweight waterproof-breathable outdoor jacket. When you turn the jacket upside down, close some zippers and attach the arms to a clip inside the pockets you get a cool little rucksack.
For hiking, the RuckJack is not very practical because when you have stuff in the rucksack, how are you going to turn it into a jacket. I mean where then are you going keep the stuff you have with you.
However, if you ride a motorcycle, the RuckJack could be very useful indeed. You can wear the jacket when you’re riding and when you’re not, turn it into a rucksack for you to put your helmet in.
