I thought I saw something like this some time ago and now that I think about it, it must’ve been the poncho tent. As a tent, the poncho tent is nothing like the TentPak when it comes to weather protection.
TentPak is the ultimate ready-to-go package for hunting, camping, hiking, canoeing, emergency preparation or almost any other use you can think of for an all-in-one TentPak system. At least that’s what they say on their website.
It’s not really an all-in-one system because an all-in-one system would at least include all the essentials. The TentPak is just an internal frame backpack with a built-in 2-person tent. If you choose the starter pack, you get a sleeping bag.
You can also ‘build your own TentPak’ i.e. choose from a selection of internal frame backpacks and 2-person tents but you don’t have the option of choosing a sleeping bag. You can buy a Life Cap as an accessory but I’m really sure what it really is. It says “survival kit” but doesn’t really go into the details.
