To have a waterproof jacket, sleeping bag and tent all in one sounds great and that means all that’s left to carry are camp stove, food, flashlight, first aid kit and some clothes in your backpack. However, it doesn’t seem likely that the tent and sleeping bag would be up to par to the standard sleeping bag and tent.
The jacket itself keeps you dry but it has zero breathability and quite heavy and bulky when you have everything in the jacket including tarp and bivvy. The weight and bulk makes movement restrictive but the bivvy and tarp combo provides sufficient shelter in the rain. However, the weight of the bivvy pulls on the jacket, causing the collar and zipper to dig into your neck. The lack of quality suspension system doesn’t help you carry all of that weight. Fit is also a big issue with the JakPak.
The all-in-one waterproof jacket, sleeping bag and tent is not ideal for backpacking because of issues with weight, breathability and fit but is great as an emergency shelter or for fishing or hunting.

I actually own a JakPak, and the new one that came out this spring is waterproof breathable and is under 3 lbs. Great product!
The JakPak is not too bad. At least it’s lightweight. I don’t see the point of something like the TentPak though, which is a backpack integrated tent.
